Privacy Policy

BallBall, Inc. (“BallBall”, “we”, “us”) operates the BallBall mobile application (the “App”) — a social platform for padel players to discover games, see how well a game fits them, join matches, and connect with other players. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and your rights.

1.Data We Collect
You provide / authentication
- When you sign in (Apple, Google, or Yandex), we receive the name and email associated with that sign-in. With Sign in with Apple you may hide your email (we then receive a private relay address).
- Profile details you add: bio, playing hand, rackets, social links, photo.
From the Playtomic platform
- The App surfaces padel games, clubs, tournaments and player information available on the Playtomic platform, which you link to your BallBall account. This includes your padel level, match history, games count and reliability metrics, which we use to compute your personalised “fit score” and game recommendations.
From our website (waitlist)
- If you join the waitlist on our website (ballball.app), we collect the Telegram handle (or other contact) you submit — via our website host Netlify — solely to send you an early-access invite. We delete it once invites are sent, or earlier on request.
Automatically
- Location (precise), when you grant permission, to show nearby games on the map. You can revoke it any time in iOS Settings.
- Device identifier and basic device info, to keep your session and early-access entitlement (invite codes).
- Push token, if you enable notifications.
- Usage & diagnostics: in-app events, performance and crash data.
We do not use the Advertising Identifier (IDFA) and do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites.
2.How We Use Your Data
- Provide the App: find games, compute fit score and recommendations, join matches, connect with players.
- Send notifications you opt into (e.g. your best game today).
- Operate the early-access / invite-code and referral programme.
- Analytics and crash-fixing to improve the App.
- Safety, fraud prevention, and to comply with law.
Legal bases (GDPR): performance of our contract with you; your consent (location, notifications); and our legitimate interests (security, analytics, product improvement).
3.Who We Share Data With
We do not sell your personal data. We share it with service providers acting on our behalf:
- Apple / Google / Yandex — sign-in.
- AppsFlyer, AppMetrica (Yandex) — product analytics / attribution.
- Sentry — crash and performance diagnostics.
- Playtomic — source of the padel game and player data you link.
- Hosting / infrastructure providers (Railway, Neon, and Netlify for our website and waitlist form).
Some providers are located outside the EEA; such transfers are covered by appropriate safeguards (e.g. Standard Contractual Clauses).
4.Retention
We keep your data while your account is active and as needed to provide the App, then delete or anonymise it, unless a longer period is required by law.
5.Your Rights
Under the GDPR and similar laws you may access, correct, delete, export, restrict or object to processing, and withdraw consent.
- Delete your account any time in the App: Profile → Delete account.
- For other requests, contact egor@ballball.app. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
6.Children
The App is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
7.Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
8.Changes
We may update this policy; we will post the new version here and update the “Last updated” date.
